Gabriela Mora is a contemporary jewelry house handmade in Spain by local goldsmith masters. Designed with an architectural approach, the brand seeks to redefine the boundaries of traditional jewelry by creating pieces with an emphasis on architectural silhouettes and abstract character.
Each element arises from a generating idea of artistic historical and architectural references, a series of modern classics that transcend seasons and trends.
Born in Caracas, architect Gabriela Mora left Venezuela to study architecture and jewelry design in Madrid. Together with the Spanish photographer Javier Pérez Pichel, they translated their fascination for architecture and design into their handcrafted jewels, creating statement pieces for the everyday. Gabriela Mora Jewelry is continually evolving thanks to the dedication and commitment of our close team, which is essential for the brand development.
Our pieces are produced locally in Cordoba and Madrid by master goldsmiths with vast experience. Every item of our line is handmade using the latest of innovative techniques as well as the most traditional skills of artistic craftsmanship. We are a family of passionate individuals, dedicated to creating high quality pieces that embody a sense of timelessness.
GBMO is a fresh, contemporary and multidisciplinary jewelry firm that was born in Madrid in 2015.With some experience in architecture, photography, graphic design, styling and art direction, we develop a unique story for each of our designs. We focus not only in our designs but in the creative story that will accompany each piece. We believe our pieces are meant to be enjoyed both on and off the body.
Metals: Our pieces are made with 18K and 23K gold plated sterling silver and brass (2.0 microns for earrings and 3.0 microns for rings). The silver pieces receive a Rhodium treatment to assure a better finish and brightness. We also use Ruthenium, a precious metal that gives a characteristic metallic gray color to our jewels.
Stones: We work with 1mm Diamonds and semi-precious stones such as Amethyst, Green Agate, Pearls, Jade and Lapis lazuli among others.
Acrylic: We incorporate Acrylic, which allows us to innovate in colors and forms.
We are in constant search for new materials and techniques to develop our GBMO collections.
We donate part of our incomes to social causes as #yomecorono; #codigovzla and bamadrid.org.
In addition, during our production process we try to ensure that no metal goes to waste. All of our jewelry is handmade to order nationally, supporting local businesses and providing jobs here in Spain.
